Ringo Shiina, born Yumiko Shiina, is a Japanese singer-songwriter born on November 25, 1978. She works both as a solo musician and singer as well as a member of the band Tokyo Jihen. From November 2000 to January 2002, she was married to Junji Yayoshi.
