PQ Angels

Synopsis

P and Q are two alien girls from planet Fuiren and their queen's special bodyguards. When she gets lost, they journey to Earth to find her. They try to live as normal schoolgirls, but since they can transform to and from cockroaches and frequently end up fighting off monsters, a neighborhood boy begins to gets suspicious.

Background

PQ Angels gained a fair amount of popularity, but was cancelled due to the Japanese publisher Kodansha losing seven pages of Takeuchi Naoko's manuscript. This led to her and her editor Osano Fumio's departure to Shueisha. Takeuchi said that Toei Animation had the manuscript of the series, therefore it would have been possible to create an anime adaptation.
