Adonis

Synopsis

Sworn enemies, the beautiful swordmaster Ianna Roberstein and the powerful emperor of Bahamut, Arhad Roygen, cross swords one last time. After years of burning hatred and twisted love, Arhad finally emerges victorious and kills Ianna. With her dying breath, Ianna accepts her defeat and wishes that, in another life, she would fight by Arhad's side as his knight. As fate would have it, Ianna is thrown back in time to her infancy—years before she is destined to meet Arhad, to both envy and admire him, until she perishes at his hand. An illegitimate daughter of Count Roberstein, Ianna rests between her noble title and lowly birth. In her first life, Ianna swore loyalty to the king of Roanne and escaped her wretched household through war. This time, determined to make good on her vow, Ianna enrolls in the Valgenta Academy at 16, prepared to take up the sword once again and change her fate with her strength alone. Ianna's beauty and martial prowess attract new friends and foes, sending her on an odyssey greater than all that she knew—but her obsession with Arhad never fades. Meanwhile, Arhad is closer than she realizes, intent on making Ianna his in this life. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
