Synopsis

The roaring winds stirs up the high clouds and the weeds flourish in the wild. Zhen Guan's Reign of Tang Dynasty. 10-year-old general's daughter Nie Yinniang, who has been promised to his cousin Tian Ji’an, is abducted by a nun who initiates her into the martial arts in isolated mountains. Three years pass by, Nie Yinniang has been transformed into a master. However, her long-repressed humanity now get in her way of becoming an exceptional assassin. Another two years slips away, Nie Yinniang and her nun master have a sword fight in the moonlit bamboo forest with the eyes of both blindfolded.
